MAVADRIVE® Magnetic Drive Agitators

Magnetic drive agitators are designed for bottom mounting as well as for top mounting on a vessel.

Advantages:
  • easy to clean and sterilise (CIP / SIP)
  • the patented MAVAG double acting impeller allows a hydrodynamic compensation of the impeller thrust. We therefore reduce wear and tear of the bearings
  • multiple stage impeller are available for cell culture and microbial fermentation
  • speed control by means of a new and innovative sensor design
  • utilization of a lowering device for the magnetic rotor of high torque drive unit
  • several options to connect the agitator flange to the vessel (welded flange, plug in or bayonet flange)
  • easy to be validated
MAVADRIVE® Sterile Agitators

Our stirrer programme covers a wide range of processes and applications:
  • MRG: top mounted stirrer for small and middle power ranges and shaft diameters from 20 – 80 mm
  • MRG: according to DIN 28162 for an easy exchange of the mechanical seals and for shaft diameters from 60 – 140 mm
  • MFR: bottom mounted agitator for fermentation processes and shaft diameters from 20 – 200 mm
  • MRH: for mixing applications with lower requirements in sterile technology
  • specific solutions according to the requirements of our customers
Conventional and stand alone Agitators

Of course there exist a lot of other processes and applications where we can give our support based on many years of experience.

Due to our capability in mixing technology we cover also a lot of applications for high viscosity. For example we produce conventional agitators as well for non sterile areas as for stand alone agitators in the colour and paint industry.

Mechanical Foam Breakers

By mounting a mechanical foam breaker to a vessels with forced aeration and mixing processes in sterile or non-sterile areas it is possible to avoid or at least to reduce the addition of an antifoam agent.

In this way the vessel volume can be reduced and the up-stream processes can be optimised. This means the installation of a mechanical foam breaker is more economical.
